Robert Moody subira al podio junto con el chelista brasileño-estadounidense Gabriel Martins el 7 de octubre de 2023 a las 8:00 p. m. en el Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts! Robert Moody será el primero con este concierto que dará inicio a la temporada 2023-2024. La temporada de siete, será el primero de siete conciertos con siete directores, uno de los cuales será elegido para convertirse en el director de la Sinfónica de Greensboro. Este emocionante concierto rinde tributo a la herencia hispana y abre con un conjunto de obras, cada una de las cuales se inspira en fuentes hispanas, comenzando con el sumamente popular Danzón n.° 2, del compositor Mexicano Arturo Márquez y siguiendo con el Concerto para chelo en re menor, de Édouard Lalo. La noche culminará con uno de los destacados logros de Beethoven: su amada Sinfonía n.° 7.
Robert Moody will take the stage alongside Brazilian-American cellist Gabriel Martins on October 7, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts! Robert Moody will be the first with this concert kicking off the 2023-2024 season. The Season of seven means, it will be the first of seven concerts showcasing seven conductors, one of who will be chosen to become the conductor of the Greensboro Symphony. This thrilling concert pays tribute to Hispanic Heritage and begins with a set of pieces, each inspired by Hispanic sources. It kicks off with the highly popular Danzón No. 2 by Mexican composer, Arturo Márquez, and continues with Édouard Lalo's Cello Concerto in D minor. The evening will conclude with one of Beethoven's outstanding achievements: his beloved Symphony No. 7. Don't miss it!
